Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) → Hanoi (HAN) is Vietnam's busiest domestic corridor in our research. Compare airlines together first, then open the same flight on the airline's own site in VND and compare the final total with baggage — especially on low-cost fares where checked bags are separate. No live fare is published here.
How to buy cheap from Bangladesh (3 steps)
- Compare every airline together first. Open the Cheap Ticket Finder search tool on our homepage, set From = Ho Chi Minh City and To = Hanoi, pick your dates, and open the on-site flight search. Use it to compare airlines, airports and times. The on-site search does not sell tickets; the provider shows the final total.
- Then buy on the official airline site in local currency. Open the same flight on the airline's own site below and check it in VND (Vietnamese dong). Match flight number, airport code, date, passenger name exactly as in the passport, and baggage — then compare the final charged total. Do not assume a currency or location change always lowers the fare; the payment-page total is final.
- If your Bangladesh card fails, fix the card settings first — then re-check. Payment can fail without passport endorsement / travel quota, with online or foreign transactions off, or at OTP/3D-Secure. Check your own bank app or bank first. Bangladesh Bank guidance links international card payment to passport endorsement and travel quota (limits must be confirmed with your own bank): Bangladesh Bank foreign-exchange guidance (PDF). Never use someone else's card, an unknown virtual-card seller, or a VPN trick to pretend to be a local resident — we never recommend those. If a seller offers this leg, verify that specific route and date before paying; we do not claim every seller sells every domestic leg.

Which airlines — official sites only
VietJet is a low-cost airline flying Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi. Vietnam Airlines and Bamboo Airways also fly Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi, so compare baggage and the final total for your dates.
- VietJet (VJ) Low-cost: Official Vietnam domestic booking: VietJet — Vietnam domestic flights. Payment page lists Visa/Mastercard/Amex and NAPAS; NAPAS is Vietnam's local card system and is not a normal path for a Bangladesh cardholder — verify your card at checkout: VietJet payment methods.
- Bamboo Airways (QH): Official domestic fare information: Bamboo Airways — domestic fare rules. Read the fare rules for your exact ticket before paying.
- Vietnam Airlines (VN): Full-service option to compare by final total and included baggage for the exact fare family. Official site: vietnamairlines.com. Do not assume checked baggage is included — confirm it during booking.
Airport warning
Baggage box
VietJet (verified): cabin baggage total 7kg; checked baggage is bought separately and costs more at the airport — official baggage page linked in our research: VietJet cabin baggage rules (Vietnamese).
Bamboo Airways (verified): 7kg cabin in economy; checked baggage is included only on specific fares (our research notes Hot Deal / Economy Flex at 20kg as examples) and is separate on Saver/Smart-type fares — official page: Bamboo baggage allowance.
For Vietnam Airlines, confirm the allowance for your fare family during booking. Always compare the total with the bags you will actually carry.
Separate-ticket & transit/entry caution
Two tickets = two contracts. If the first flight is late, the second airline is not obliged to rebook you free and the second fare can be lost as a no-show. With checked bags on separate tickets you may need immigration → baggage reclaim → check-in again, so keep a large buffer; arriving the night before the domestic leg is our safer advice (guidance, not an official airline rule).
Separate tickets can mean entering Vietnam. If you arrive internationally and continue on a separate SGN → HAN ticket, do not assume airside transit, visa exemption or e-visa eligibility for your passport.
Our research does not provide a verified official Vietnam entry link for this page, so we are not guessing one. Check official Vietnamese immigration/government sources and the airline for your exact passport and itinerary before booking.
Spell the passenger name exactly as in the passport — low-cost airlines can charge for name correction or refuse boarding (the amount varies, so we do not print a fee here). Cheap low-cost fares are often non-refundable and change fees can be high — read the fare rules before paying. Keep your booking confirmation and PNR safely with you; never send us passport or card images.
FAQ
What is the Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi ticket price today?
We do not publish a fixed or live price on this page. The fare depends on your date, airline and fare family, and baggage can change the total. Use the search tool on our homepage, compare in the on-site flight search, then check the final payable total on the airline's payment page before you pay.
Does Cheap Ticket Finder sell tickets?
No. We do not sell tickets and we do not take payment. We help you compare and then link you to the on-site flight search and official airline sites, where booking and payment happen. Never send us passport, card or booking-login details.
What is the separate-ticket risk?
Two separate tickets are two separate contracts. If the first flight is delayed, the second airline does not have to rebook you for free and you may lose the second fare as a no-show. On separate tickets, leave a large buffer — for an international arrival followed by this domestic leg, arriving the night before is the safer plan in our guidance, not an official airline rule.
Why check the local currency on the airline site?
Our homepage on-site flight search shows provider results for the route and dates you pick. Airline sites may show this domestic leg in VND (Vietnamese dong). Display currency and the currency your card is finally charged in can differ, and your bank may add conversion costs — so match the flight, baggage and final charged total on the payment page, and do not assume changing currency or location always makes a fare cheaper.
We do not sell tickets. Prices change — the provider's payment-page total is final.
