Short answer
To find a cheap air ticket from Bangladesh, search with flexible dates, compare the full price (including baggage and fees) on several booking sites and on the airline's own website, and then book directly with the airline or a trusted provider. No website, day of the week or booking time guarantees the lowest fare.
How to find a cheap air ticket (7 steps)
- Fix your route and nearby airports: Decide where you are flying from and to. If you live near Chattogram or Sylhet, compare those airports with Dhaka as well.
- Search with flexible dates: Use the calendar in our flight search and check a few days before and after your preferred date. Prices often change by date.
- Compare the full price, not the headline fare: Add checked baggage, seat selection and payment fees before comparing. The lowest headline fare is not always the lowest total.
- Check the airline's own website: Open the official airline website for the same date and compare. Airlines sometimes publish their own offers there.
- Read the fare rules: Check the baggage allowance, change fee and refund rules for the exact fare you are about to buy.
- Check your travel documents: Make sure your passport is valid and check visa and transit rules on the official government or embassy website of the country you are travelling to.
- Book and confirm: Pay only on the airline or a trusted provider's website. After booking, check your booking reference (PNR) on the airline's website.
